One-on-One Coaching

You’ve probably read books, or participated in group programs to learn, or to better yourself in some way. These are all well and good. I turn to books and training too.

While these approaches meet the needs of some of the audience, they don’t always hit the mark for you, specifically. True?

First of all, you don’t always apply the learning, because there is no follow-up or accountability built in. Secondly, it’s likely your busy life sneaks in. A noisy magpie lands before you, distracting you from the path you’re on. There will always be noisy magpies, preventing you from realizing your potential.

And then there’s one-on-one coaching! Imagine having a built-in structure with an objective partner who keeps you focused on the prize. There is no hiding at the back of the room when you’re being coached.

Though we usually work with an established program, like 12 Weeks to Weight Loss and Wellness, the coaching is specific to you, at your starting place, and at your pace.

My job is to elicit solutions and strategies from you, the client, to enhance the skills, resources, and creativity that you already have. Yes, you probably know just what to do. But chances are, you’re not doing it. Rest assured. That’s normal.

My intent is to help you connect your head and your heart, so that you follow through. I will inspire you to be your very best. I will challenge and support you, and provide perspective and feedback when or where you’re stuck.

The structured process of inquiry and personal discovery leads to heightened awareness and action towards fulfilling results. It doesn’t matter if you’re working on weight loss, stress, relationships, or ADHD – coaching is coaching.

Of course you could get there on your own. But with one-on-one coaching you get there more efficiently, with possibly much less difficulty or stress. You just might achieve more than you ever thought possible.
