My coach was the key to my progress. She was supportive, caring, extremely knowledgeable about a wide variety of health-related topics and patient without being passive. I always felt she was listening to every word I was saying. She showed amazing skill at being able to ask the right question to stop me in my mental tracks and lead me to rethink my problem and possible solutions. Never did she take control of my decision-making–I was the one who had to come up with the answers and suggest ways in which I could improve my life.
